4 runner wheel fitment

Will wheels from a 2015 4 Runner fit a 2004 4 Runner? Curious

Thanks

Really sorry to post here but this thread seems appropriate regarding my issue. I'm a newbie to this forum so I have zero posts and I need 15 to be able to create my own post. So here's my dilemma.

I have a 2005 Toyota 4runner. I recently installed a Icon Stage 2 suspension kit and I'm having some rubbing.

The front tires 285/75/16 rub on the rear at the frame and lightly on the spindle near the upper control arm. I have '04 oem rims 7.5" width with 5" backspace and 30mm offset.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so what was your solution?

So far I figure I have a couple options.

1. Install Spidertrax 1 1/4" spacers which will move the tire out board away from the spindle and may or may not solve the frame rub. My limited understanding is that using a spacer may only change where the tire rubs on the frame. Also I'm worried about installing a spacer and then needing to trim the factory bolts. If that needs to be done it's seems it would be hard to go back to stock.

2. Buy and mount after market wheels in the 8-8.5" width with 0 offset and 4.75" backspace. Icon tech feels that will definitely resolve the issue. Just a more expensive solution.

Really hoping someone has some feedback about this. One post down 14 to go! I get the rule to avoid spamming but for someone new that isn't a spammer it's annoying.

I just mounted these 17” wheels from a 2012 4Runner on my 93 deluxe. I mounted some street oriented suv tires, 265/65/17. Fits good. I wish it had more offset, I would like if they stuck out more
