took them in the dirt for the first time...went over this really steep hill at about 5 mph consistently with no spin or anything, perfect traction...too bad that's the only kind of test i have the time for right now

i know the angle is crappy but i saw a base 4runner just like mine in the target parking lot and couldn't help but pull in and snap a side by side...didn't want to make it public or anything haha

I agree. Looking good RooRRunner. Rated your thread a 5 out of 5 in the "check out my truck" section of the community forums.

your 4runner doesn't count because its a beast
haha just kidding
i just thought i would add this instead of bringing up my old thread. i just used the 4 parts vinegar and 1 part water with 0000 steel wool for my windows...holy goo! my windows are back to sparkling new, it's all in the technique! i tried it yesterday: dipped the wool in the mix and scrubbed then washed off and wasn't too pleased. today i washed the car from head to toe, then spent quality time with each window starting around the perimeter then diagonal strokes with a little elbow grease. turned out so great i did the sunroof window and windshield. i'll wait until i have a hi res camera to post some results as my camera phone won't be able to pick up the awesomeness....well see if you can tell and then i'll get a real nice up-close later
looking at it on this picture doesn't do it justice, just you wait until i get the nice ones

got some pictures with a good camera this time...sorry still driveway shots
Painted half of the front emblem black, the other half was sanded with low grit sandpaper to achieve a more stainless steel look rather than the chrome, same thing I did to the fender trim a while back. Also did the 'Toyota', '4Runner', and 'SR5' emblems on the back
I, Weston Miller, solemnly swear not to post any more repetitive pictures until I have found an off-road setting where I can get my shoes dirty. hahahahaha
well wait!....after this one

miller- your pics are all dead now -danged photobucket. maybe you could update the past history... meanwhile we are all left drooling over the new General Grabbers with the red lettering...
What has happened to roor? Or is he persona non grata like neli?

I hear 285/75/16 is the closest you can get to 32x10.5?
If I still want highway speed or speed in general would 4.30 gears be more suitable for this tire size or 4.56?
Looking to LSD my 2wd as well. Daily driven 22re.
