275/70/16 vs a 265/75/16

I have a 1998 4Runner Limited, OEM stock. I like to play outdoors and take my ride wherever I can. I have had 2 sets of Michelin M/S 275/70/16 that have worked out just fine. Its time to upgrade....Can't find the same size and all the tech guys tell me get a 265/70/16. Will that leave gaps with a smaller tire? I have looked on some posts and have seen some 265/75/16's as well. Would I have any problems with the 265/75's rubbing or anything? I would like something more beefy, on a stock 4runner. Looking for advice. Thanks

265/70/16 is the stock size, but lots of people seem to upsize to 265/75/16 on stock suspension with no issues.
