17" v 18" Ride/performance difference?

Thinking about getting 265/75? on 17x? wheels/tires for my 2008 V8 limited with OEM 265/60 on 18x7.5
Also have stock coils rear x FJ 4x4 coils front and Bilsteins all around
What will difference be with 17 v 18 wheels and tires?
Any thoughts?

Rim diameter is largely irrelevant.

Questions to ask are what is the difference in proposed tire/wheel weight and any substantial difference in tire circumference and width.

If the new tires selected are similar in circumference and width, you should notice little to no difference.

All other things being equal, the lighter tire and wheel should give better ride. Lower unsprung weight is a good thing.
