Tofer’s off-road trailer Build

I’ll try to be good about updating this thread, but no promises lol.

picked up a new project this last weekend. Custom built trailer that needs some love. Plans are to fix the rust spots, add 15gal freshwater tank and pump, propane tanks, battery array with an inverter and solar charger, SOA swap the axle, throw some 31s or 33s. Change the hitch design to a pintle hitch and then throw a RTT on top.

it’s going to take a while, but should be worth it in the end.

Looks like a project! Looks like a lot of steel. Is it pretty heavy? Is the left spring broken?

it’s all steel but doesn’t weigh THAT much. I can move it by myself. Yes the one spring is broken, I’m replacing both springs.

more work this weekend.. cleaned up a lot of the rust from the floor. Also removed the old hitch and started cleaning it up. I will extend the hitch and add a pintle mount. I am going to cut out the real bad rust spots, and the add 3/16 diamonds plate as a new floor pan.
