Hi all!! I am new to the site and I have a question about a rack for a softopper.

I have a softopper camper top on my 94 ext cab and I would like to put a Autohome roof tent on top of it. Softopper makes a rack system however I dont think it would support a roof tent. I need a strong rack system that will extend out around the camper top. If any kind soul has any info I would appreciate a bit of help. (google has not been much help)
Thanks very much.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I could have sworn I have seen a soft top on a pickup that also had Yakima or Thule bars on the top, and a roof top tent.

I do not see why it could not be done if you had the internal frame supports for it.

You're probably thinking of a CanBack. They have a setup that allows mounting a rack on their soft top. Don't think it's sturdy enough for a tent tho'...
