Thanks, Ian
Gotta love the 'CANON-TICULITUS'!!!! lol. The Sigma doesn't do too poorly, either. I love Malaga Cove, CA..... GREAT place for pics.(The one with the bluffs/trees/houses outlines at around 2 miles in the center.... that's Crest Park, Palos Verdes, CA, if anyone is interested. Another great place for Landscape shots/practice, lol.)

I don't ever remember posting this in here. Sorry, "poor" quality, you can see the scan lines in it from my scanner, but it was taken by a Cannon EOS Elan II film camera. (I still have this camera BTW)
My sub ported in Dubai UAE during evening colors.

We had a nikon dslr, took great pics but once we got into the kayaks we left it in the vehicle. We contemplated a go pro so we could take videos too but I wanted dslr quality pics. We settled on the Pentax k30, water resistant - they show multiple videos of it under running water - shock/cold/dust resistant, and has video as well. We bought it with the 18-150mm lens which is weather proof and also have an 55-300mm lens which is not weather proof. I've accidentally forgot it's in my kayak when I'm hosing it out and never had an issue with it. I also like that the auto focus and anti-vibration motors are in the body, not the lens (unlike our old nikon) so there are lots of pentax lens options where you can still have vr reduction and auto-focus.

Thanks, Teuf...
These were all from a Canon D40... BUT, I pulled them over from Walgreens.com storage to do the funeral video... So they wound up around 250KB, down from 6MB each. I have most of these on my wall, and a few more of my favs that I need to get out of my Seagate HD... Shouldn't be a problem.. It's just that I have around 150Gb's of Pics on that thing... So I have to fish through and organize it better one day.
I have some great ones from the Sierras, too... and the Angeles Crest Nat. Forest.... I'll get em out asap. I REALLY need to get 'carbonite' or something
lol.

PS> Once again, Johnny, ..... BEAUTIFUL, ..I mean it LITERALLY creates a yearning in me to BE THERE! Looks like it was a great time!

I did love this one... NOTHING like it felt to BE THERE, sitting in a Hot Natural Spring, crystal clear, staring out at the Sierras... But nonetheless, it's a nice memory, ya know?
