Just a heads up the coolant hoses, Northern Radiator makes a small block conversion setup that uses some short rubber hoses and some 90 and 45 degree stainless elbows. I used the exact same hoses you did w/adj. neck at t-stat but I just don't like the way mine rubs on the vc. I was planning to fab an aluminum support arm until I found this.

WooHoo!!
I got my 4th gear and a/c working. Only 2 weeks before we leave for Colorado.
The tranny guy liked my rig so he tricked out the valve body and put in a corvette servo.
I drove it yesterday in 105 degree heat and the temp gauge stayed on 190 F. so it appears the radiator was a good value.
I will try to get some numbers on mpg now that the tune is close and 4th gear and lockup are working.

Great swap! This is exactly how I want to set up my 4.3 (mutliport marine intake, MS II) I do have one question though. did you need to keep the ECU from the toyota to run anything inside the cab or does the MS take care of it? not much of an electrician so I thought I'd ask
Thanks!
Thanks!

Installed realtime barometric correction today in the megasquirt ecm it only cost $20 for the parts... an extra map sensor and a 1k ohm resister
Now I can drive from sea level to the top of the Rockies non stop and have constant barometric correction... you never know when you might need to do that!

megasquirt and 4.3 ignition
Very nice build, I am currently working on a build with megasquirt (v3 board) and a 99 model 4.3 vortec. I have everything wired up and working minus the ignition system. I'd be interested in more details about your EDIS setup (part numbers and possibly sources). Right now I am direct firing the coil with the high current driver but am having issues with the distributor. Any help sourcing parts for the EDIS without having to pay an arm ad a leg for them would be greatly appreciated. TIA
