looking to do a swap on my 89runner . looking to see if anyone has done one with 5.0 motor and trans (auto) and i am keeping it fuel injected. motor and trans is out of a 93 mustang (cop car ) has engine and trans work done to it. still wanna be able to keep my 4 wheel drive working. if anyone has a list of list of parts that would be needed i would appreciate it alot.

 

Man it's done alot, you cna keep engine and trans, Advance has an adapter to put the toyota transfer case on the back of the AOD, and ECU wiring is like 4-5 wires to make your guages and stuff work, you will want ot use the stock harness from the stang along with leftover ecu items from the existing 3.0. Search search search man, Everything you asked is answered like 10 times on here at least. I'm doing the same thing unless something changes, of course I'm doing a Manual setup out of a 95 cobra Unless something changes then I'll just go 3.4 and do it for under 2g's
