vac hose and check valve for om617/yota

What brake booster do you guys have on your yota/617 build? I have the stock toyota booster attached to the om617 vacuum pump. My booster is not getting enough vacuum to operate the brakes after say the 3rd successive use of the brakes. Tested my pump directly at 22 hg. Capped the vac line that goes to shut off to rule it out thinking that there was some sort of leak but am getting the same results. I'm basically wanting to rule out the booster vacuum line that I have. I'm wondering if the placement of the check valve or the t junction is restricting flow resulting in my pump not able to suck enough vacuum quickly enough. How do you guys have yours set up?

Mine looks like this...
Vacuum Pump --> check valve-->t junction --> booster
Maybe I should have the check valve closer to the booster AND after the t junction??

thoughts?
