I have a 1KZE diesel for my project. I have been told that I can only use an R151F Turbo trans or an older V6. R151F's dont exist so does anyone know what V6 trans I need? I bought the 5spd bellhousing for the motor. Where can I get a Flywheel? clutch? and why wont it fit any other toy trans? Any input is greatly appreciated. thanx!

 

I believe the R151F was used behind the 22RET. It has a much lower first gear than the R150F . The 150 was the V6 tranny and it should work behind the 1k. The 150 is much easier to find as the 151F was only in production for 2 years. If I remember right the 150F came behind the 1kzte so you should be fine with one of those.

 

finding the flywheel and bellhousing is going to be the challenge.

I think the clutch disc is the same as a v6, not sure about the rest of the clutch.
