om617 into 85' 4runner
hello everyone ...
i've been on this forum as guest for sometime now doing research and preparing for the swap And now just wanted to show what i've accomplished.

little history. bought about a year ago with following mods
two sets of 35x12.50x15
some kind of rancho lift kit
hp front diff,v6 rear
both have 5.29 and detroit true-tracs
ramsey winch
"prozar" front bumper
interior is trashed
drove it for about a month and engine died ... didn't touch it for some time ....
than after bunch of research, bought kit from Luke (4x4Labs) got 617.950 from wrecked mb and it all started.
kit

fitment check

almost in

new home

this is whats left of sensors wiring going from engine bay to ECU, btw ECU is not connected and all gauges work

here is toyota temperature sending unit mated to mb block

im using mb glow pug controller

oil pressure gauge

pair of 9"fans and JEGS Performance Products 51170 radiator

clearance between oil pan and diff
exhaust (i'm not a welder so for now thats what i have to live with)

still lots of stuff to do, to make it perfect but it runs

Looks good! You might check but I think the oil pressure sender is the same thread as the line on the oil filter housing you may have to space it out a tad. As I recall its a m10 or 12 1.25 pitch. I adapted mine to 1/8 npt for my aftermarket gauge. Welcome to YotaTech!

not gonna run a/c for now
for the radiator to fit i cut off support enough to fit radiator but keep hood latch in the same place.
for the oil pressure im gonna be using toyota sending unit, just didnt have time for it yet, but thanks for info
