I have found a 2l hilux with transmission I need to know if my t-case will mount to that trans or if my trans will mount to that engine. I have a 87 22r 4x4. I also need to know if those 2l hilux are worth the extra money.

 

I have also found a 1kzte. How much harder would this swap be? Also has trans but it's auto. Again will my t case and trans mount, what about wiring?

 

The 2L's came with an R series tranny behind them. I believe the bell housing will fit on a v6 tranny. The 1k ZTE would be a much harder swap. Because every single one of them is right hand drive. To do the swap you have to take the whole wiring harness In the cab. And extend it 18 inches. Or you could just swap over to a Cummins pump. But if you go with a Cummins pump you're going to want to install a pyrometer. Hope this helps get you going in the right direction. Good luck on your bild.
