Diesel for a T-100
I am looking to buy a T-100 but I want to put a diesel engine in it any ideas on what engines would work for this truck

I just picked up a TDI Passat to use as a parts car for my Pick Up swap. Paid $300 for the entire car and once the 1.9 engine is warmed up a little (chipped, injectors and a decent intercooler) it will easily put out 150 hp and 250 ft lbs. I am not sure what tranny is in your T100 but if it is a W56, several companies make adapter plate that will bolt it right up. Wiring isn't too bad either, the VW stuff is pretty self-contained. All you really need is keyed power the the ECU, glow plug power and power to the cooling fan. There are a few other small bit you need from the car like the potentiometer from the gas pedal and clutch and brake switches. There have been a couple well documented builds if you take a look around the forums. I just love the idea of getting more power and fuel mileage than my 22re that's coming out.

There is a co. here that is swapping in Mercedes 300TD turbo diesels with some success... you could get a half cut toyota Hilux diesel from a place in Texas... or try a Hino diesel - Hino is toyota's heavy truck div....
The VW diesel might be a little small for your application.
