Has anyone done or had this swap done? I have a reputable shop by me that is willing to do the swap and I know I will have to lift the runner and beef up the suspension to accommodate the 4bts weight and height. Just wanting to see if anyone else has done this. I know I could do a tdi swap a lot easier but I am a cummins guy lol.

 

Get the cummins 2.8 or somthing that doesnt weigh more that a 4runner.

Big weight increase. I think 800#s of motor. My om617 was 600#s. Not much bounce coming out of the driveway in front. May need to upgrade to 1ton axles for torque and of course heavier suspension.
