95 4runner 3.0 to 4.7 swap
With all the nice 1UZ swaps happening on here it has got me Jonesin for some V-8 power. I don't know if it has been covered on here but, I ran across a 2005 Tundra 4.7 auto 2wd with 57k on the clock that looked like it was hit by train in the rear.
The truck actually drives but has frame damage in the rear. I think I could pick it up pretty cheap. So I am no Toyota Guru - would this engine and transmission go in like the 1UZ? The great part is it comes with everything. Wiring -- exhaust -- plumbing ETC.

The 2uz fits in pretty much the same as the 1uz. It's just that the 2uz is an iron block so it heavier than the aluminum 1uz. It does have a bit more power though. Also, the 2uz is ODBII emisisons which complicates things and the throttle is drive by wire. I wouldn't attempt it unless you can get the whole truck.
