Nice! It's amazing how exciting it is the first time it runs, no exhaust and all. I am at the same point with mine, just fired up a week ago and can''t wait to get the rest worked out as soon as i get the time.

I got a rad out of a clean 2001 crown vic with the E- fan & shroud for $45 its a puller fan so I can mount it close to the cab without heating up my butt.
I then just piped it so the high side of the rad connected to the high side of the motor and visa versa for the low side
I made some home made brackets out of scrap stuff so the piping runs are removable too
to make the final transition connectionfrom blk iron to rubber hose I chopped up some stock coolant pipe from the old motors I have laying around then just welded it to the 1 1/4"
(ie. the pipe that is a U shape on that goes from the water pump to the lower rad connection on the driver side near the motor mount on a 22r)
bleeding the air was a pain at first cause I did not know what I was doing....to bleed the system you have to have a thermostat housing with some sort of tap above the thermo...unscrew that thing a little bit and bleed the air out ...if you dont have one you may need to tap it for a plug
if you need to take a closer look at mine just give me a call

Not yet. I think i need to bend some pipe because the factory downpipe comes right down into the driveline, i need to cross it over right behind the oil pan. need some material and a bender
