Not what you want to hear, but do it yourself. Its not that hard and thats a lot of cash to drop on something you could do with some homework.

Painless wiring could probably make you one as well...

As much as I would like to do it myself, its just taking up too much of my family time. I was hoping to get everything done in two weeks but thats obviously not going to happen. Now that I'm back at work its not fair to the wife and kiddo that I come strait home, work on the runner, go to bed, wake up at 530 to go to the gym and then back to work. Plus, I will likely be deploying to Afghanistan in a year so I would like to just get this think back on the road so we can go on some camping and wheeling trips.

Will have to call them tomorrow to see. Have they made the conversion harness before? I like how close they are to me too!

They specialize in conversion harnesses. They were in one of the 4X4 mags about 9 months ago. Great reviews.

Took my buddy John an afternoon of reading wiring diagrams and doing some sketches to get all the pinouts laid out as they should be to match the 3.4 engine harness to the 1990 4Runner body harness.

He said there was a lot of stuff that he didn't even use and really wasn't going to have to do a whole lot to it. Most of the work was just putting forth the effort to research the wiring diagrams.

He's already done one and it wasn't that bad. He is also a Toyota Service Tech and works on Toyotas for a living so that helps too.

Did your buddy do an auto or manual swap? Seems like almost every wire would be used.

I will be mailing my harnesses to cliff at toyonlyswaps tomorrow. I can't stress how good there customer service (cliff) is. Never takes longer than 12-15 hours to return a phone call or respond to an email (in most cases 2-4 hours). I have asked him many questions and he has been able to answer them all. He has also assured me the harness comes with a 100 percent warranty and is guaranteed to operate without fail.

So, so far, I highly recommend them! I also purchased my crossover from them.
