What is the E2 pin on the ECU? I dont think my TPS is working right and im just trying to figure out what the E2 pin is? It connects the MAF, TPS, and VPS by a br-b wire.

ok then, well maybe someone can answer me this. Does the TPS receive a constant power or does it send signals in pulses? I dont have a volt meter to test the TPS the way the manual says.
On my TPS none of the wires on "hot", not sure if one maybe a ground.
Thanks,
DMT

I think that it receives a constant power and ground and then uses a rheostat to send info to the ecm in resistance. I could be wrong though.
If you do not have a meter though, how do you know that its not receiving power or "hot"?
A test light, if thats what you are using, is the best way the screw things up and its probably not send a full 12V that it would take to light up your test light. More like 5V which would look to you as its doing nothing.
I would go get a meter. Even a cheapie one from harbor freight will work fine. I think that you can grab one for $5. I bought one for my trail bag and it works fine. Probably not as accurate as a $200 Fluke but it will work.

Im searching for answers on why I cant give my truck full throttle after my swap. I thought maybe it was the TPS, but I unpluged it and tried to rev it up and it was worse, so im assuming its working like it should. I had the o2 sensors plugs backwards aswell.
I've searched and searched for any vacuum lines I missed, maybe I have bad spark plug or something. Starts and revs fine, take off and it starts cutting out towards top end and you cant give it full throttle.
So close.... I'm ready to wheel this hatch!

Are you sure the alternator is charging at full strength? That would also cause the symptoms that you are describing.......but again without a meter there is really no way to accurately tell. With the motor running you should have about 13.8volts at the battery, or anywhere at that matter.
