The beginning of 2010 I started my slow research into the 3.4 swap and searched for a donor vehicle for my white 94 v6 5speed 4wd pickup. I truly love my truck... But when the hits the fan, it really hits the fan. To summarize I no long have the time to perform the swap due numerous factors which includes now it being my only vehicle... & to cut my time even shorter my v6 is now a v5. I have only found one shop willing to due the swap in SoCal but asking $4k+ with me providing the donor vehicle or $7.5k without. Finding a donor vehicle is hard enough, the cheapest complete donor I've found went for $2200. I would greatly appreciate a simple point in the right direction to a supplied savage yard or a reputable shop. Thanks for reading

Craigslist is your friend!! When I was looking I found a few wrecked Tacoma's, Runners, and T-100's in the LA area for reasonable prices. You gotta look everyday though. Finding a good donor became almost a hobby.

This project might have to wait a few months and til then I might just get a 4banger commuter
