Will a 96 Tacoma ecu/wiring harness combo work with a 98 4runner engine? I know you can go the other way around to make a 96 engine work with a s/c, so I don't know why it wouldn't... I'm in the middle of my wiring and I'm curious if I should just look for a 98 combo to match before I have to re-do every thing. I've poked around for an answer but I have only heard of people going up in years.

 

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.
