Anyone know the proper oil capacity for a 3.4L with the 3.0 2WD Manual oilpan and oil pickup tube?

I need to change oil and I don't trust my dipstick so I want to fill with the appropriate amount and then etch the dipstick properly if needed...

The 3.0 oil pan capacity for 2wd is slightly higher than 4wd. It's roughly 5qts with and oil filter change. The 3.4 pan by contrast holds slightly more oil at roughly 5.5 qts with filter change.

5 qts is enough. Besides I've always subscribed to a little less is better than a little more, correct?
