o2 sensor troubles

hey guys i have a question about my o2 sensors for my swap. i have my first bank sensor plugged into my exhaust. i still need to weld in another bung and add my 2nd bank. my old o2 sensor thats in my 3.0 wiring is still plugged in but zip tied under my trucks chassis, so basically its exposed. when its raining outside my truck seems to start chuggin air and have no power, but when its dry out it runs fine. could my old 3.0 o2 sensor still be reading stuff and sending info to my computer? its buggin the ˟˟˟˟ outta me cuz its rainin like a mofo here in oregon. any help is appreciated!

have you tryed disconecting it and see what happens? if I remember right it shouldn't be connected to anything because it should of been part of the 3.0 engine harness.
