How many miles is too many miles, 220?

I recently bought a 1996 tacoma for parts to use on my daily driver. I have pillaged the thing and have easily got my 800 bucks worth out of it. I am considering pulling the engine in it for a swap into a 91 runner.

The only downside is that is has 220,000 miles on her. Yikes. Assuming I get good compression on all cylinders is it worth swapping?

The only nice thing is I have the whole truck, with no cut harnesses and everything included. Before I started pulling parts off the truck is did run and drive, didn't smoke.

To rebuild or not to rebuild, that is the question. Thanks for all the opinions guys.

3.4L swap into a 3.0.

What other tests can I do to check it out other then compression? It's still in the donor. I don't know the history of the vehicle. I know if it was taken care of well it's not a problem.

220 is not that much for a 3.4l just do Timing belt and waterpump while it is out. 3.4 is a great step up from a 3.0
