do i need the evap vsv?
been reading alot on this but everyone is using a evap vsv, my question is do i have to?
the donor truck was already picked clean when i went back to try and recover the evap vsv and evap canister.
i plan on using the 3.0 but i really dont need to due to no emission requirments where i am.
if i do NEED it can i use the 3.0? is there one? i have the body harness from the donor, and my runner. toyonlyswaps.com is going to do my pigtail adapter for me.
thank you for the help.

Short answer Yes, you need them if you don't want CEL codes tripping. Although I never confirmed it, I don't think the 3.0 stuff will work for you. I would just pick up a set of 3.4 VSV's from another 5VZ from a yard (there are 3). You can definetly use the 3.0 canister with the 3.4 electronics.
Do you have the pigtail connectors for them already? Or do you need those as well?

I guess the motor year 3VZ makes a difference as well because mine had completely different VSV setup than my 5VZ donor. They were completely different wiring setups.

read the elvotra I believe around page 10 iirc. You can use one of the 3.0 vsv's, but the other 2 I believe the vapor pressure sensor and the other one that has smaller vacuum ports(forgot the name) has to be from the 3.4. The actual evap one that has the larger ports can be from either truck.
