Question dipstick plug removal?

i live in "them there hills" of southeast Ohio. trying to prep a salvage yard 1999 4runner 3.4 5vzfe to replace a 5vzfe removed from my 1998 T100...A340e...2wd....i've got the oil plug moving with a vice grip (engine on stand, held with hoist)...used PBlaster overnight....hammered from inside (tiny hole) heated with Yellow propane, but she's in there tight. any ideas on how to remove oil dipstick plug?

i just read the thread of 22r plug removal...seems the vice grips twisting method is the way to go. would heat and more PBlaster help at all or just keep twisting...it's in there very tight?

I use a 1/4" extension or a punch that fits from the inside (remove oil pan) and hammer it out. Do not heat it up as you do NOT want the plug to expand. You're other easier option, Drill out the hole for the dipstick from the underside. I assume since its a 2wd you need to use that plug location for the dipstick. If yes, just match the diameter of the tube from the inside. Either way, you need to drop the oil pan.

i read somewhere that to plug the 4Runner front hole some guys thread it and put a bolt and sealant in there. i still have the old block with the plug in the front corner from the worn out T100 engine. question...if i drill out the 4Runner plug on the salvage engine...the one i'm planning to use...i wouldn't want to goof it up. would a good hardened 3/16" drill bit do the job...or would there still be "remains" that would be hard to get out? this plug turns somewhat hard with vice grips, but won't proceed out.

i screwed up, but i hope not too bad. i didn't look at the old T100 block, the job would have been done already. the T100 dipstick tube goes into the top of the plug that sits about an inch and a half above the block. well i thought that that had to come out, since there was no such plug at the front corner where the 4Runner salvage engine dipstick went in. so i drilled and drilled and got it all out. then went over to look at the old T100 block and....oh crap!!! so yesterday i was having some success of removing the plug from the T100 block to try to get it into the 4Runner salvage engine that i'm prepping to go into the T100. the T100 dipstick tube must sit about 1 1/2" above the bottom of the block, or it will not get an accurate oil reading, right?
