been searching and reading 3.0 -3.4 swaps
I have a couple specific type qusetions i havent found.
1.It sounds like a 3.4 auto will bolt directly in place of a 3.o
2. If thats true that leaves wiring. I heard of the ORS kit does this make all the wiring splice right up?
3. Is the ors kit just wiring?
thanks for the info

I didn't have to deal with anything to do with an auto, since mine is a 5 speed, but I can tell you that Mike (ORS) is great to deal with. He sees to it that a great product is made, and is very good to talk to, if and when you run into snags.

I did the swap back in August. Mine's a 5 speed as well. I didn't use any of ORS's stuff because I'm too cheap. They do offer a bunch of different kits. I used as many of the stock hoses as I could and the wiring harness wasn't really all that bad, once you wrap your head around it.
www.andrewzook.com has one of the better write-ups that I've seen, but there's a ton more out there.

hey yall, i was thinkin about the 3.4 swap also. i got the 3liter in it now and it blows. i spun a rod bearing in it about 3 years ago and i pulled the motor and rebuilt it and bored and made several upgrades and now it seems like it just sucks more gas and has no more power than before. anywho, how much does it cost to do it and how much mods is it gonna be? will it bolt right up to my 5 spd tranny? any help would be awesome. thanks fellas, bubba.

Yes.
Yes.
No.
$1,500 to $5,000
What?
Yes.
These answers are short... and I know they probably don't offer too much help. But to be honest, reading through a few of the 3.4 swap writeups here on YT will give you a much better idea of what the project entails then any answers that could be listed here.
