anyone know about these two circuits
planning the conversion to 5speed and going through my EWD's again. Damn i thought that i was done with these.
Anyway, I came across two circuits on the 95.5 Taco that are not on the 97 Runner motor/ecm that i currently am using.
1st - FPU (fuel pump up) this apprently is an output to a vsv that activates something.
2nd - ACV (AC Idle Up) this would assumingly kick up the idle when the ac compressor is turned on.
Anyone have a though on how I can make this stuff work on my current motor without too much hassle.
Anyone have any pictures of what this stuff looks like (the vsv's, where they are, etc.)
Anyone know if not having these two things will kick on a CEL?

i have read that the FPU disabled may cause difficult warm/hot starts. No issues with you?

if you check out my documents, it looks like i didn't hookup these wires at all. the only cel i get is the stupid o2 sensor. i made the emulator but doesn't seem to work. so next step it to do my exhaust.. GRRR just for the second o2 sensor.
you should be fine, no issues startin.

Ya forget it.
I abandoned the idea of using this Taco ECM. I bought a 97 Runner manual ECM this morning. Going through the EWD's, that will give me no issues as far as changing the pins and everything is exactly the same, less the transmission wiring.
Why not just install the rear O2 sensor?

because the factory 3.0 exhaust has the bung before the cat, so i think it will trigger the cel if i put it in the stock location. so im waiting for the cash to get the new cat and exhaust system done correctly.

since i'm using the stock 3.4 down pipe, i've obtained the front o2 sensor in it's so called stock location. the second o2 that needs to be installed would have to be after the cat. Now with the 3.0 exhaust which i'm still using the cat is so far away it wouldn't work correctly, even if i used the location of the stock 3.0 o2 sensor location and installed the rear 3.4 in that spot. I think it would throw a code because the sensor, can measure air volume, and heat as well. So i think it would pop the code...
i will take some pictures, you'll get the idea. i just need to do the exhaust any how for the bar... which everything will have to be spot on as it should be to mimic the 3.4 setup.
