Guy’s I just got in contact with a local company down here in San Diego called McNeilracinginc, they do a ton of custom fab work for desert racing trucks. I’m looking to take in my factory 89-95 hood, and have them add very mild or factory looking scoop to clear the 3.4 intake manifold on a stock height truck. If everything goes well, we might be making molds from the prototype hood. I’m wonder if anyone would be interested in this, once the final is made? Picture will be posted..

1" body lift sure is a lot easier.

But hood scoop would be cool, but a lot more work to look good.

 

or pickup a hood scoop and graft it on yourself... just sayin...

 

Wouldnt mind the looks, but no need here. Cut the support out like everyone else did, clears fine no body lift.

 

Just taking ideas.

 

i just used 1" spacer on the hinge... ghetto Cowl hood.
