What are the differences between the 3.0 r150f tranny and the 3.4 r150f tranny? Do I need to change clutch etc to use on my 3.4?

Have you done a swap or are going to do a swap? All this is answered in the FAQs and build threads.

The biggest difference is that the slave is on opposite sides. The bellhousing are totally different also as well as far as how the starter bolts up (starter bolts are not interchangeable) the mounting bolts from the bellhousing to the motor will be different as well due to the lengths.

One is slightly longer if I remember correctly as well but I cannot remember which is longer.

The shifters are not interchangeable either.

I believe the gears are the same or at least similar enough to not be noticeable.

I bought all 3.4 clutch components when i installed the 3.4 R150 and kept it all when I switched back to the 3.0 R150. They are interchangeable. You will have to drill out a starter mount hole if using the 3.0 starter on the 3.4 bell housing.

I have ran both in my swap.
