Need a little Advice here.... I have a 98 t100 donor that has the column shifter to the tranny instead of the floor one 4runners usually use. So my question is can i buy a floor shifter from a tacoma or something and modify it to shift my 4runner??? Or do I have to pull the whole damn steering Coloumn out of the donor and swap it into my 93 4runner? HELP!!!!! Kinda stuck here.

 

It's just linkage. I'd modify something to work in the floor.

I think it's cool to have one on the column though...

 

Just so happens that I have a complete floor shifter from a 4runner that i will sell you!!!!

It'll hook up easy; just simple linkage.

 

Awsome thanks for your help guys! I think I'm gonna hook up with -jason and get that shifter.

 

If possible take some pictures of the swap... I might have to go the other way, floor to column shift (if I can not get my old trans to work with the 3.4L)
