well, i ordered one from a buddy at a radiator shop down here. 150bucks which is actually cheap for this radiator, but it would be nice to have been able to spend that on something else.

hey guys, i just out a set of 41's on my truck, it looks great and the truck still pushes the tires fine. but i lost a little and everyone knows that once you had the power its hard to not have it haha. anyway, i am wondering what you SC guys are getting gas mileage wise? i dont really know what i am getting at the moment because my cluster took a crap a while back and the odometer nor speedometer work. i think its pretty good. i mean gas a full tank lasts me a week, if not more, and i drive this thing everywhere!

Looks good with the new meats. I am getting an average of 14-15 mpg city/highway combined with the SC. I drive it like I stole it all day long as well. I could probably pick up a mpg or two with restrained driving.

wow so the SC really didn't hurt you, and the power difference is definitely worth it?

hey guys i bought a set of ted headers without actually knowing if they will fir my truck. i am not sure what the reason was for having to modify the exhaust but since i am solid front axle and have a 3inh body lift would you guys happen to know if i will be able to use these headers?

Your problem will the the clutch slave cylinder on the transmission on the passenger side. To make it work you would have to modify the passenger side to fit.

remounting the slave will take a great deal of work, welding skills, and machine work. Not worth the benfit IMO.

I looked into it at one time and searched and searched and talk to some people much smarter, with better tools and know how, than myself.

In the end, it was a foolish idea so I abandoned it.

ok so i cannot do headers at all? there isn't a header that avoids the slave cylinder somehow? also, with a supercharger how much is actually gained by doing headers?

ok so i am now supercharger, methanol injected, deck plate moded, and a few other little things and i am always looking at other possibilities. well i have a 1996 3.4 and accessories in my truck and noticed that the MAF sensor loooks incredibly restrictive. would a MAF sensor off of a 99 to 04 plug and play on my truck?!

also, i have been riding around with no a/c for quite a while now and have intermittently attempted to fix it. what i have run into is that i have a clutch that doesnt fully engage. i have stepped up voltage using a relay but unfortunatelly over about an hour the clutch statrts to slip again. the compressor is brand new as in un used but has probably been on the truck for about a year. does anyone happen to have any ideas about this aswell?!

if the plate for the magnet isn't properly spaced it may slip.

No. The 96 to 98 type is a "tube" type. The MAF is contained inside a tubular housing that bolts to the airbox.

The 99 to 04 MAF is just the MAF sensor itself. The MAF housing and the airbox is one piece. The MAF sensor inserts into the housing.

In either case, your engine will not idle correctly.

I had a 96 to 98 type MAF and airbox, with a '00 ECU. The idle would surge up and down about 500RPM. Eventually I figured out my MAF wasn't the correct year. I bought the MAF and airbox for the 99 to 01 and fixed my idle surging issue.

i have been having this issue since i did the swap. in the morning before the motor warms up or i push past it the truck will not go... your giving it gas but the truck boggs hard and slows down. you can let off and baby it through the tough patch and then its fine after that. what do you guys think this means?
