3.4 swap wiring

3.4 swap wiring
Have a 3.4 out of a 96 tacoma with a 5 speed, swapping into an 89 4runner 3.0 5 speed. The 4runner is going to be a full tube body, similar to a f-toy. My question is, do i need to splice all of the wiring into the body harness? Since im not going to be using any of the dash, lights, gauges, fuel pump, etc. out of the 4runner? The 3.4 is already in the 4runner, only thing left to do is wiring and fuel lines. Thanks

No. There is nothing in those circuits that you mentioned that I can think of that would cause it not to run.
You may have to run the fuel pump circuit. You may not being running the Tacoma fuel tank and pump but you will have to run some sort of electric pump and I would just use the circuit that the Tacoma ECM will provide so that it works with the key, crank and run like it should rather than a toggle switch or something else.
Probably need the brake light switch to work as well but not sure 100% so maybe someone else can confirm or dispel. I would just hook it up in nobody chimes in. Its all right there in the kick panel anyway.
You WILL need the speed sensor to be operational.

The electric fuel pump thats in it now is wired to a switch. May change it later, thats just what was ran to the 3.0 before. So with the Tacoma harness plugged into the computer, with some power it should start?
