3.4 swap and tacoma vehicle speed sensor

I upgraded by 48 Jeep Truck with a 3.4 and I'm using a Tacoma VSS and Glow Shift Speedometer. I've read some write ups on the wiring, but want to confirm what wire goes where, as those write ups are vague since my colors don't match theirs.

In the pic, I just need to know from rear to front (or front to rear) what order to wire it up. I'm certain the middle wire is ground, and that leaves 12+ DC to either the front (or rear) with the other going to the Speedometer.

This is a picture I got off Google, thanks to who ever posted it first.

thanks for any help yall can give.

Notice the notch above "3"... it will always be above #3. I believe this is looking into the sensor.

Thanks for clarifying, so three is towards the rear of the vehicle if looking at the sensor on the vehicle. Which would be the signal wire. (the pic is upside down when compared to on the vehicle view).
