I'm starting my 2nd 3.4 swap, the first on was into my 92' DD was pretty easy I had everything to bolt it right in. My question is, can I get the motor mounts from a 2wd 3.0 truck to bolt into my 85'? If memory serves me right the frames from the 2wd models and solid axle trucks have the same profile so will the 2wd motor mounts work in a solid axle frame truck?

No one? Any one have some 2wd mounts they want to sell so I can test my theory?

 

you will have to fab new mounting points on the frame rail.
