Hi all,

Im sure this has been asked time and time again but I can barely figure how to navigate a forum so please play nice. I would be surprised if I actually am posting this in the appropriate section. Anyhow, I will be putting a 3.4 on 3.0 engine mounts in the 3.0 RWD Xtra cab frame. I am hoping SOMEBODY....ANYBODY OUT THERE!! who has this same setup can give me an exact measure of how high the 3.4 sits from the top edge of engine mounts or how high it sits above frame with engine mounts included with pictures. I am just trying to get the best idea of the least possible body lift I can get away with when putting the cab back on in order to clear the engine.

And just to clarify I am talking stock with no supercharger or turbo or fancy bells or whistles or bodies or whatever else you may have under your hoods that isn't just the normal 3.4 on 3.0 mounts and frame.

If this has already been answered a million times I apologize please just show me the door......and a link to the answer I'm looking for

 

Pretty sure there's info/data here..... Try 4x4 wire too-

 

I don't have a 2wd but I do have a 3.4 in an 88 4runner. I made a body lift out of .5 inch plexi and a washer or 2 for a total of about 5/8 of an inch and the engine just clears. I don't know if this helps maybe its a place to start.
