Can I just swap long blocks? Thanks for any help I’ve tried googling it but one thread say yes and one says no so plz don’t kill me for asking lol

Dare I ask how you even came across this idea?

Being that I have a 3vze, 5vzfe & 1mzfe in my line of cars, there's no way this could ever work without some very serious ghetto booty fab.

Like I said above I wasn’t aware the car motor was different I thought all the 3.4 would be the same and just have different bolt on stuff I’m not trying to scab anything together just trying to find a block for my pickup and I’m having a hard time finding a 5vz which is what my pickup has in it unless I wanna spend 3-4000 if u would read my entire post I’m simply trying to find out if I have any other options for a block for my motor or if their is no other option

I'm just trying to understand the thought process.

Why did you think a 1MZFE would work to replace a 5VZFE?

No, The 1MZFE is a 3.0. Toyota has only made one 3.4 engine and that's the 5vzfe.

Gotcha then I will just have to find a 3.4 block that’s all I was trying to figure out if there was any other motors that work because everything I read on the Internet was saying there was several that interchange Guess I just wasn’t asking the right question like I said I’m new to the scene and have no clue On what’s what yet just trying to figure it out so I can fix this pick up for my daughter‘s first rig without having to dump a fortune into it because every 3.4 I can find around my area is two to $4000 so I just wasn’t sure if there was something else I could use that might’ve been a little cheaper considering I am Going to rebuild it anyway
