Just brain storming here.Does anyone know if a 4.0(1grfe)crankshaft will fit in a 3.4(5vzfe) block?That would make a nice Stroker 3.4/4.0!Bore spacing should not be a problem because they are almost the same.Dont know where else to find this info.

I'm going to suggest no, that it won't fit.

Odds are the journals are different sizes and even if the bore spacing is "close", a few thousandths of an inch will make all the difference.

Only way you're going to know for sure, though, is to try.

 

They have the same bearings.I had no luck on the phone today.None in junk yards.No after market cranks.Nobody knows anything.Anyone have an FSM for the 4.0?
