Hi all new here for the most part, Have been reading and searching for someone who has a right up on a 22r manual trany to a 3.4 auto swap.
Rig description: 1982 Toyota Sunrader 4x4 5 speed straight axle swap
Donner 1999 Toyota 4-runner auto trans 3.4
I do have a printed copy of the 2000 toyota 4-runner wiring diagram.,
First question: can i use a non top shift gear case and convert it to a top shift, for this swap? I have one.
Is their any option beside a TC adapter for this swap, Passenger side drop
Wiring: if the Donner has an anti theft on it. can i just not use it. or will that not work. do i some how have to trick it.
Something i am thinking about doing, is remove the entire donor dash and parts and fit to my rig ( if it will fit) My thought is, it might simplify the wiring for heating/air/gauges,etc Thought on this?
My gas tank is on the passengers side, can i use a Tacoma gas tank for the EFI, as i believe it is on the pass side also,
