T100Flatbed

I know this swap has been addressed a lot on this forum. I have a 1993 T100 and the timing belt went while I was cranking over a no start situation. How tough is this swap to do for a non mechanic but I am not totally ignorant either. If its tough then will look for a used 3.0 to drop in but those are tough to come by and the 3.0 sort of sucks. Ok spent the afternoon and decided I am sticking with the 3.0. Just need to find a good source for one and decide if used one or rebuild would be the best route.

Yea I cant speak to the swap in a T100, in my 89 Truck it was pretty straightforward, wiring was toughest part. If you feel confident enough to pull an engine and/or rebuild the 3vz then the swap is probably do-able. I'm just not sure how the exhaust issue would pan out for you. It needs to exhaust out to the Passenger side which is a problem for the earlier Toyotas.

im in lancaster, i can do the swap and make it pass the CA BAR. Ill be doing in my garage so it wont be an overnight project. but ill do it right and make it look clean
