Zaino observations
So it's been about a month since I did the initial, full on Zaino treatment, 8+ hrs with clay bar & 4 or 5 coats of Z2 & Z5. Haven't washed it since, except for a couple of heavy rainstorms that got it really clean. Since it's always outside it gets kinda dusty & birds seems to like it.
Decide today is the day to give it a bath. Almost all the crap on it rinsed right off, but the water wasn't beading quite as much as it had been. After washing with the zaino soap though it beaded up just like it did on day 1. I can't express how impressed I am with this stuff, the protection it gives is just awesome.
Of course, after getting it all dried, I can't just let it be. I wipe it down with Z6 then 2 quick coats of Z2 and it's looking better than ever. One thing I tried & really liked, instead of using a dry towel to buff it, I used the same towel I Z6'd it with, still a little damp. That worked out really nice, I recommend trying it.
One wierd thing, it was drying really, really fast. I only mixed about an ounce, 2 drops of the accelerator, spritzed the applicator with Z6 first. It was drying almost instantly, before i could really get it spread out. It was warm, high 80's i think, but overcast & humid.
Last thought, I don't hear much from others about the zaino tire gloss. I used it on all the textured plastic, door handles, rubber around the windows, and the gaskets that seal the doors. This stuff rocks! Dries to the touch, not greasy at all. I also hit the grate between the hood and windshield & it turned black again, was kinda dried out before.
