Where is this sensor located?

My computer is relentlessly telling me that PO773 (solenoid E circuit malfunction), has issues. My tech inspected the acessable solenoid during the last tranny pan drop, said everything is cool. The light will not stay off now, I think the circuit of this sensor shat the bed.
Does anyone know where, how, and if I should try to replace this sensor? I hate looking @ the CEL.
cheers!

The FSM for my truck (96 4Runner) doesn't list it so I took it to Google. A lot of folks use the generic "Shift Solenoid E Electrical", but the Suzuki Samari shows it as "TCC Lock-Up Solenoid Electrical".

Are you an auto? if it's solenoid "E", then maybe that's overdrive (5th gear)?

Yeah, it's automatic. Any suggestions on where to research this, my tech says I can spend a whole bunch of $ looking for the problem, or just drive if it shifts fine. Which it does. I just had it serviced and don't want to change the fluid right away again. I would love to figure this problem out, so the tech can just fix it, not everything else in the proce$$ of looking for the culprit.

Sorry man, I really have no idea. I'm getting "good" on engine stuff, but I haven't started into tranny work.

But, here's a "bump" for the thread, maybe someone in the know will pick it up.

The whole manual is at: http://fsm.afraid.org/

I got this info from Gary @ 4x4wire.com, I need to dig in, may take a while to digest it though.
