Question removing sracthes

I know a lot of you go offroading and getting scratches from flying debris tends to create those random annoying scratches. What do you all recommend. I tried some scratch X, but it is only temporary, as when it rains it becomes visible again. Has anyone tried the Toyota paint touch up stuff?

Do you mean scratches down to the metal? If not, go w/power polishing. It gets most all scratches out and makes her all shiny again.

Someone call?

I have had my share of forest pinstripping on the paint and the Bushwackers.

I take the Portal Cable buffer and first use the clay on it, then just wax normal with the Best Of Show wax I use.

I did use the Griot's machine Polish # 3 on the flares, as the plastic scratches easier than the paint will.

The buffer got out all the scratches.

More info on the stuff I used can be found on my detail site lsited below in my sig.

Shine is good

Last time I Porter Cabled the beasty, the trees and landscape around were reflecting off the paint and casting on the ground

Looks like someone has been having some fun with photoshop... One of these days I'll have to post a closeup of the paint on my truck... ...and to think only a couple years ago it was fresh from the body shop. Still shines good and isn't rusting, that's all that really matters.
