Has any one with a late model Runner had this problem?

In cold weather (40 deg F and Below) if the rig has not been running the rear window will not go down or up for that matter. Is it one of the sensors, relay, wiring or the motor?

Wiring doesn't make sense because conduction goes up as things get colder.

I have not gotten out the volt meter and tested yet but I thought I would throw it out there and see what you guys thought.

Biggest cause for older 4Runner rear windows to go slow is a dry window run, dried out grease in the window motor, this all gets thick in colder weather anf a worn gear shaft in the window motor itself, the extra load from dry runs will wear these out quickly, use silicone spray for all your window runs and rubber seal, but dont get silicone spray even close to it if your in primer prepping for paint, the results will make you sick Also, while your trying to roll the window down, look at your dash lights (ie check engine, alt, seat belt, ABS etc), engine off and see if they dim quite a bit, if they do, this is a good indication its getting power to the motor, just hard turning, if they dont dim, it can be other items, most common is the rear wiper park switch, and a latch detection switch, in that order too.
