Please help....

The truck is an 86 22R, I will make this nice and short cuz i know none of you want to read a really long story. Well i went wheeling last night and i might have sucked in a little bit of water. Well the truck made it home fine last night, this morning i go to drive it and it starts fine. When i let out the clutch in gear the truck has a horrible hesitation and almost stalls. I thought maybe i got something wet so i drive it for awhile and at every stop sign it does the same thing. When I get into higher rpms it clears up and is fine. I changed the oil, changed the fuel filter, air filter, and sprayed carb cleaner in the carb, checked the plugs took the cap and rotor off they look dry. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

my 89 did the same thing after getting stuck in mud/water. real bad hesitation when accelerating. let it sit for a day, powerwashed my radiator(overheating because of mud) and it ran fine. sorry for the lack of advice.
