Locking Hubs cleaning Q?

Hey all, 2 questions.

1. what type of grease should I use when I rebuild my hubs

2. last night, my friend put the main hub bodies (the one with the bearings)

into the degreaser with all the other parts... does that now mean that I need take those apart to repack the bearings? or can I just leave them? they still turn ok.

1. Axle grease
2. I'm not sure. I left my bearings in because it was too big of a PITA to take them apart.
