How soon to wax / polish?
Got another new Toyota to go with the 2002 4Runner. OK---OK, so it's only a 2003 Corolla. It rolled off the Canadian Assembly line last month.
Florida summer sun coming soon.
How soon can I apply wax / polish without hurting the paint job.
Toyota calls the color Indigo Ink Pearl.
Thanks guys.

Jeff,
I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way but the paint has dried.
With all my vehicles, I've claybar'd, polished, and waxed it the first weekend I got them. I trust myself to do a good if not better job, not the dealer or former owner.
Go to it!
Bob

Paint is cured when it comes out of "can" so to speak.
You can do whatever as soon as you take delivery.
When I buy a new vehicle, I tell dealer NOT to detail. And as soon as I get home I clay, polish with buffer and wax.
There is no waiting 2-3 months unless the paint is not cured or baked.
