Gas Line
I have a 87 Toyota that sat for 2 years. I can not get any gas to the carb. I put in a new fuel pump took out the gas tank and replaced the fuel, Replaced the fuel filter. I took the air compresser and blew thew the lines one line I
can feel the air on the other side. The other line I can not. I am not sure what the other line is for maybe just air. Can some one
help me with this. Thanks Fon...

Is the one you can blow through the one from the tank to the pump? There is also one that goes to the vapor canister.
Does the truck run if you dribble some gas into the carb? Might have to do that to get enough vacuum to pull the gas up to the pump (higher RPM= higher suction)

yes the one I can blow threw is the in line to the fuel pump.
the truck will run until it runs out of gas in the carb. I have primed it maybe 10 times each time it will run for a couple of seconds.
Thanks Fon....

Thanks for the help. I pulled off the valve cover and seen that my replacement engine was from a car with fuel enjection not carburator. I guess I will have to install an electric fuel pump. Any thoughts on what brand would be best for this and where I should place it. Thanks Fon....
