Flying saucers

Can anyone tell me what the two things that look like flying saucers are on the left side (looking from front to back) of the engine are?

Can anyone tell me why the rear one (between the second and third spark plug) is clicking (really loud and fast)...but stops clicking when I take off the vacuum hose and when I'm at a full stop or applying gas? It's the strangest thing! Oh and how can I fix it or is it a replace only deal?

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Do you know what the one clicking is called so I can find out how much the part costs?

Thank you...

That's the AS (Air Suction) Reed Valve. Always noisy, but if you notice it getting louder, it's probably getting gummed up. Sorry, I don't have a part #, but you can check HERE or with your local supplier.
