Cleaning up aluminium wheels
Hi,
I just bougt some used aluminium wheels and they are quite beaten up by the weather. I was wondering what the best plan of attack is. Pressure washer?
I don't think a wire brush will have the desired effect.
I would I polish the wheels, never done such a thing. So I have no idea what to used for that either.
I hope somebody can help me here.
Arjan

Hi Arjan, if they are pretty well beaten up by the weather, you might want to strip them down.
It's a lot of work, but worth it.
Ken (Paddlenbike) on the forum here has an excellent write-up on his home page.

If they are not super bad, I find Eagle One Polish called "Billet" works great for alloy wheels.
It is what Centerline told me to use on my Centerline wheels.
